Spills happen, but that spill doesn't subtract from the piece at all... I think it enhances the focal point, possibly being her head?

Great stippling technique.. my favorite area on the piece is the bottom right half.. that column with the vines.. mmmm

WOW! this is really nice! the idea is innovative... and it was beautifully drawn out. i love the way you did the leaves in the upper right corner! one thing that i might suggest... the goat person's right arm looks a tad off without a line separating it from the sky/background since you outlined almost everything else in the picture. nonetheless, it's a great piece

The absence of the outline on the goat is perfectly fine, since it is at the angle where it faces the light source almost directly.. the lines are suggested, but not there cuz of the brightness-- this phenomenon is found in real life too. :) (Smile)

odd nib size on your pen you are using there, especially considering the detail you are trying to achieve....but considering you achieved it, i really cant complain too much. i am all about mixng techniques of ink...a personal favourite of mine, doing sumi brush, and then cross hatching over it, but you on the other hand took a completely different aproach in doing line art, with stippeling (christ, stippeling! my arch-nemesis). My only question really is the pen size you used for the stippeling. did you use a bigger nib, because you thought it would be too time consuming? I adore this peice, and it is very skillfully done...but man do i wish that stippeling was smaller and tighter.

Great inking!
I also liked the lines you have especially not connected like the one on the arm of the goat..it gives a different feeling..but I would critisize the stippeling you have done on the right foot ..it looks a bit messed up there..and the flower on the left bottom looks a bit caricature..
but at the total..very good imagination..very good style..very good angle..very good impressions..

Good job with the stippling. I especially like the work around the pillar designs.

I like this piece a lot. Too bad you spilled the ink. ha ha. That's kind of funny. I've learned from those pens that you have to refill the ink. I don't mess with them anymore.
